Our History

We decided to create sober living homes after addiction impacted our family and we realized that there was a need for high quality sober living homes in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. We discovered how important a positive home environment can be, as a foundational part of recovery. Our belief is that people need a decent place to live as they battle to overcome addiction. We adhere to the principle that a quality living situation facilitates the recovery process.

Our Mission

Our goal at R3 House is to provide a high standard of living for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. We believe that our residents deserve to live in a quality home, in an accountable atmosphere with the opportunities to flourish spiritually, emotionally and physically. We seek to foster a process where individuals can:

RECOVER from addiction.

RESTORE their self-esteem and confidence while discovering their God given abilities.

REBUILD their lives.

R3House LLC is Licensed by the State of PA through DDAP. We are located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

Executive Director

John is a business executive with over 30 years in Information Technology consulting. He had executive and partner level roles at IBM, Accenture and Avanade.

He currently works as Executive, Partner in a global Information Technology advisory firm. John is the visionary, property development, financial and mentoring lead for R3

Scott is a Certified Recovery Specialist and trainer specializing in recovery coaching and strengthening recovery-oriented environments. Scott is active with organizations like the Lancaster County Reentry Coalition, Recovery Advocacy Project, and The Lancaster County Recovery Alliance. He advocates for the many diverse pathways of recovery as well as increasing the understanding of recovery within our communities.

Director of Operations

Paul is a Certified Recovery Specialist and oversees all facets of residential living. This includes on boarding of new residents, facilities management, drug testing, house management, relationship building with rehabilitation centers, and partnership with the recovery community. As a licensed realtor, Paul manages all new real estate acquisition for R3.

Opportunities with R3 House


House Managers

House Managers are the front lines of the recovery support system for those living in a Recovery House. If you have experience as a recovery house manager, other leadership capabilities, and are in recovery yourself, you may be a good fit as a house manager in an R3House. You will live in a fantastic home, a high quality bed, your own TV, and other benefits of your leadership position.

 

Qualifications

  • Focused on your recovery and a member in good standing of a step based recovery program

  • Leading others in recovery through mentoring or sponsoring others

  • Demonstrated heart for service in the recovery house

  • Demonstrated maturity in managing the normal conflicts and issues in group living situations

  • Demonstrated commitment to the smooth and effective operations of a Recovery House environment

Mentors

R3House is seeking mentors who will work with us in leading men and women in recovery in areas of life skills, financial responsibility, good work habits, and personal disciplines needed for a successful, productive life.

 

Qualifications

  • Maturity and experienced in life lessons and willing to share those with people in recovery

  • Willingness to work with those in early recovery and engaging in the life problems that accompany addiction

  • An understanding of those in recovery in a way that focuses on meeting them where they are concerning faith, personal stability, smoking, language, and areas of their personal habits or behavior which may be counter to your own values, faith, or personal habits.
